P.E.O.P.L.E. Groups  


Experiential social engagement classes for students with social anxiety, mood disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADD/ADHD and general social deficits.  The classes also include community outing to generalize skills learned in the group environment. Trial classes are offered to prospective students. Please contact us to schedule a phone consultation and trial.

Typical Class Structure

10 mins: Teachers will present class theme/concept

35 mins: Students will engage each other in a structured game, role-play, baking activity, art project, and/or a gross or fine motor activity to “experience” and practice the concept.

15 mins: Wrap up for teachers and student to evaluate the student’s understanding of the concept and reflect on their ability to execute expected behaviors during the group. Goals and results will be recorded by teachers and students on the Daily Tracking Sheet.

 

P.E.O.P.L.E. Community Camps


One Week Specialty Camps

Campers will enjoy exciting activities and theme based learning through their favorite comic books, chess, video games, robotics and science. Our GIRLS RULE camps will focus on the creative development through multiple artistic mediums. Camps will be open to no more than 12 similar age students.

Two Week Community Summer Camps

Campers will enjoy a stimulating curriculum in different community locations. Focusing on team-work, conflict resolution, conversation skills and social confidence building activities with typical peers. Camps are open to 30 students age 5-17 years. We have small “ teams ” of 4-6 students according to chronological and developmental age.

 

Neurofeedback


Erin Webb M.A. LMFT will be conducting neurofeedback client specific treatments as outlined by the QEEG Brain Mapping testing conducted by Dr. Ron Swatzyna, Ph.D, Director of Electro-Neurophysiology.
